I only came out to my friends and family as a gay man after I entered a serious relationship. You cannot believe how many friends I lost. What is wrong with this picture? A part of me wonders how they could not have known in the first place. And....really....what difference should it make in friendship?

It shouldn't make any difference. Consider this your call from the universe to recreate your life as the wonderful thing it should be. Make new friends, start a new life, and forget about those people who weren't really your friends to begin with.

I have a question for everyone - i am married for the 2nd time, i have children from a previous marriage - my new husband does not have children.....but has been in mine and my children's lives for 10 years. Your kids have to come first. DItch the new husband
The new husband has to realize that he is not their dad and the discipline should be done by you
Tel the kids to behave or go live with their dad
